How To Submit Blogspot URL To Google

When I first started I was always wondering why I was unable to search for my blog over search engines. After some reading I found that to get listed in Google Search Engine your blog must be first crawl by Google. Submitting your URL to them is crucial as it was almost instant after the submission that my blog was crawled and listed.

Before we do that make sure you have some attractive contents and got the correct settings in your blogspot. Log in, on dashboard go to Settings tab, in Basic scroll down till you find Let search engines find my blog? and Add your blog to our listing, please select the Yes option and save settings.

Now you can go to http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/index.html to add your URL. Please keep in mind that you must add http:// prefix before your URL. Enjoy..

How To Make Laptop Auto Shutdown When Battery Low

Laptop default setting was usually only set to alarm us when battery is low or reaches critical level. It's normal that we misses seeing the low battery warning which leads to laptop sudden power off. This could be hassle to many as we might loss all work we are doing which is not save in proper way and most of all this could do physical damage to our hard disk that could cause permanent hard disk failure.

Some are searching for software or program that will make laptop to perform auto shut down or even hibernate when battery reaches low or critical level. Actually we could do the setting easily in our laptop itself.

1. Just go to Control Panel and switch to Classic View select Power Options

2. Select Choose When To Turn Off The Display

3. Select Change Advanced Power Settings

4. Scroll down to Battery Options and select Low Battery Action to Hibernate, Sleep or Shut down.

I personally would set to Hibernate on Low Battery Action rather than Sleep unless you have 10% or more on your battery level. Setting it to auto Shut down would make all your unsaved work gone so be careful on your selection.

On top of this you can even set your laptop Low Battery Level, Critical Battery Level and Notification Level. I prefer not to set Low Battery Level too low as 10% battery level should be sufficient in most cases.
